Glenmorangie A Tale of Winter is a 13-year-old, limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky. It is aged in Sicilian Marsala casks and has a deep hazelnut brown appearance.
It has a sweet, spicy, and complex nose, with notes of creme brulee, vanilla, burnt brown sugar, all-spice, cinder toffee, and rich dark fruit.
It has a rich, warm, spiced malt flavor with wintery cocoa notes, toffee, orange peel, and baking spices.
The experience begins with light flurries of fruit and honey, building to torrents of cocoa dust, flakes of red pepper, and chunks of Brazil nut toffee. It culminates in a finish that swirls with cinnamon, ginger, and clove.
